The Dive Master course is the highest non-professional certification offered by diving agencies, expanding on the knowledge, skills and experience gained in Advanced Diver Courses.
To qualify as a Dive Master, divers will need to reach certain experience levels. Training will include logging of a minimum amount of dives at varying depths, acting as a dive leader on a set number of occasions, a set amount of dives leading open-water expeditions and different rescue scenarios.
Lessons are catered to instill a higher than average level of personal diving skills, management skills and theory based knowledge.
Prerequisites for Dive Master course are Advanced Diver certification, as well as predetermined amounts of completed dives in a range of conditions.
